What senior care costs in Greater Cleveland
The 2025 CareScout Cost of Care Survey puts the Ohio median for an assisted living community at $6,103 a month and a private nursing home room at $10,389. CareScout does not publish a Cleveland-specific or Cuyahoga County figure, so treat these as a statewide starting point, not a local quote.

Why we do not publish a Cleveland-specific figure. No primary source publishes a Cleveland-specific or Cuyahoga County-specific cost figure. Cleveland-area pricing likely varies significantly by neighborhood, with the East Side inner suburbs and Lake County generally commanding higher rates than more rural stretches of Geauga, Medina, or Portage counties. Ask each community directly for a current all-in monthly quote. You will find sites quoting a precise Cleveland number. We could not trace any of them to a primary source, so we do not repeat them.
